Laminated glass is composed of two, three or more layers of glass bonded together with a film layer at a high temperature. Laminating gives the glass pane special properties. In the case of breaking the glass pane, shreds do not spatter but remain in place thanks to the foil.

Laminated glass is used wherever it can cause harm to people in its vicinity when broken. We use EVA film for laminating glass. In comparison to PVB foils, EVA foils are non-hygroscopic, which means that they do not absorb water particles, eliminating the risk of delamination on the edges in contact with moisture. Therefore, they can be used wherever the glass is exposed to moisture and water (glass canopies, balustrades, glass with graphics for bathrooms and showers).

In addition to safety values, laminated glass becomes more commonly used as a decorative element. We can laminate various types of graphics between the foils, in translucent or opaque form. At the Customer’s request, we can put his own composition between the panes, laminating even thin objects (e.g. a ribbon). Colored monochrome films, also in translucent or opaque form, are also becoming more popular.
